How we collect, use and protect your data
At Insiviz ("we", "us", "our") we take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use our services.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password (encrypted), and optionally your phone number.
Your portfolio transactions, holdings, performance data and broker connections. This data is stored encrypted and is visible only to you.
We collect information about how you use our services, such as the features you use, access times, and technical information such as IP address, browser type and device.
Payment information is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers.
To deliver your portfolio tracking services, manage your account, and support you with problems.
To improve our products, fix bugs, and develop new features.
To inform you about updates, new features, and important announcements. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
To detect and prevent fraud, and keep our services secure.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.
Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel who need it for support purposes.
We run on hardened cloud infrastructure with automatic security updates and least-privilege access control.
Your data is backed up regularly so we can recover from an outage or data loss.
We share your data with trusted service providers (hosting, payment processing) who are contractually obliged to protect your privacy.
We may share your information when legally required to do so, for example under a court order.
If Insiviz is acquired, your information may be transferred to the new owner.
We NEVER sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
You have the right to see what personal data we hold about you.
You can update your personal information at any time in your account settings.
You delete your account yourself via Settings → Security → Delete account. Your data is erased immediately and permanently; an active subscription stops right away. We only keep invoicing data for as long as tax law requires.
Download all your data as JSON via Settings → Security → Download my data: profile, transactions, positions, dividends, alerts, watchlists and preferences.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails, but transactional emails remain necessary.

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Your data may be stored and processed in different countries. We ensure that all such transfers comply with the GDPR and other privacy legislation.
We keep your personal data for as long as you have an active account. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted immediately, except for invoicing data that we are legally required to keep longer (for tax purposes).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will inform you of important changes by email or a notification in the app. Your continued use of our services after changes means that you accept the new policy.
